At Forgetful, your privacy is important to us. This privacy policy explains how our app handles information and data.

1. Information We Collect

Forgetful does not collect any personal data. We do not request, access, or store information like your name, email, location, or device identifiers.

2. Local Storage

The reminders you create are stored locally on your device. When you activate a reminder, its text is displayed in a Live Activity on your Dynamic Island and Lock Screen. This data is not transmitted or shared with anyone. Deleting the app deletes all of its data.

3. Live Activities & Notifications

The app uses Live Activities to keep your reminder visible in the Dynamic Island and on your Lock Screen. Live Activities require the notifications permission, which you can grant or revoke at any time in Settings. Everything runs entirely on your device.

4. Analytics

We do not use third-party analytics tools or tracking services. The app makes no network requests and works entirely offline.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our app is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to the app or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page.
